What if the whole point of getting under Nick/Thierry's skin, so that Nick will break off with Thierry and leave The Louvre? Nick hasn't always worked for The Louvre, but has for the last several years BECAUSE of Thierry's involvement with him. Without his emotional bond to Thierry, he's basically a "free roaming" archeologist that can be utilized on the field, since he hasn't really aligned with any other society [i]as long as[/i] he has with The Louvre.

Doing this would mean he'd more than likely be more susceptible to the Mute augmentation.
