[/quote] And truthfully, he really is. He's a struggling father who's convinced his oldest daughter hates him. Doesn't feel he's doing enough for his youngest child and is fearful that his son is making the same damn mistakes he has. And then there's his wife. Thierry's effectively been using his job [i]as an excuse[/i] to hide throughout their entire relationship together. I only started to briefly mention it in one of my last DB inner dialogues, but Thierry is eventually going to have to choose between what he feels are societal norms or be true to himself as an openly gay man with biological children. He will ultimately have to explain this to his kids and he's convinced Auri is going to hate him for it. For choosing Nick. He's not upset that she looks like her mother, he's upset that her mother took advantage of him.
