[b][color=gray]Biography[/color][/b] Nero has nearly forgotten their human life the only thing that remains is what they remembered to be their appearance and that gender norms were dumb. [s]Grew up as a street urchin after being orphaned as a young girl. Hid the fact that they were a girl in attempts to pass as a boy and avoid unpleasant situations. Their occupation was a pickpocket and whenever someone was getting close to finding them out, they would leave and move on to the next place to start over again. As a human, Nero was quick on their feet and would pull “pranks” on local authorities to show how dumb Nero perceived them to be. Eventually was caught and brought before the German nobles of the 13th century to answer for their crimes and made to go through trial by ordeal, specifically Ordeal of Fire. (The accused has to pick up a red hot iron bar and hold it while they walk three or four paces. Their hand would be bandaged afterwards and three days later, the court would reconvene and remove the bandages. If the wounds were healing, they were innocent and if they weren’t healing they were guilty.) Found guilty as their wounds did not heal, Nero was imprisoned and would eventually die from infection.[/s]

As soon as they could, Nero took on the role of torturer in hell to avoid being tortured. With their delight in cruelty at the expense of others and their ability to learn someone’s vulnerabilities, Nero quickly rose in the ranks. Nero now has a small portion of hell’s demons working under their command and is not slow to point out the shortcomings of those under him.
