Background: 
Born to a middling middle class family in Manchester, William grew up a mild child. Leading an extrodinarily average life. After finishing his studies and deciding to become a bureaucrat after watching a few videos about the parliamentary system, he moved to London much to the dismay of his family.

There he went to London University, where he had his first experience with the occult. He looked out his apartment window one morning to see what he thought to be a demon, a man coloured red with horns, but it was only an escaped insane asylum patient wearing a stolen costume. William, of course, thought it was an actual demon, since then he’s been fascinated with the occult.

Needless to say, he has had no luck. He has not been able to summon a single demon or creature. The best he ever got was communicating with a ghost with an ouija board, unfortunately the ghost was French so William thought that the board was spouting nonsense.

He distracts himself from his occult failure by burying himself in work. He is well liked by his boss and respected among colleagues due to this.
