I would say about four fifths of it is dedicated to detecting certain aspects of the install environment. A tenth is dedicated to removing anything it considers foreign to that environment, and the last tenth is restoring something close enough to what was originally there, or what the program [i]thinks[/i] should be there. Including itself.
