I sent the message to Nic and debated on telling him the uneasy feeling I was having. I didn't want to concern him, but he also told me I could tell him anything, and I didn't want to keep secrets from him if I didn't have to.

I'm just finishing up my cooldown when Nic walks in. I'm about to say hello when Kimiko jumps at him with her greeting. I shake my head and towel off while she greets him. And she wonders why I was so standoffish when we first met. She's rather abrasive and nosy. 

Nic handles it all well and I'm rather impressed. Once Kimiko gives him a moment to breathe, I nod at Nic and hold my hand out for a handshake greeting.
