Roles open:
[b]First Mate[/b] - ya'll know first mate
[b]Lieutenants[/b] - help keep shift rotations, lead prize crews or when capt/mate are away.
[b]Quartermaster[/b] - pay, stores, records
[b]Bosun[/b] - in charge of deck crews/equipment

[b]Sail Master[/b] - in charge of sail deployment, maintenance, also often doubles as navigator.
[b]Topmen[/b] - handle sails on the masts - otherwise run of the mill PIRATES!
[b]Riggers[/b] - work the ropes on deck - otherwise run of the mill PIRATES!

[b]Master Gunner[/b] - in charge of all guns & ordinance 
[b]Gun crews[/b] - dedicated gunners 

[b]Sergeant[/b] - in charge of musketeers complement, usually seasoned veteran with actual military experience
[b]Musketeers[/b] - Small party armed with muskets/pikes in close action, boarding & counter boarding while other crews are engaged - usually best trained combatants as opposed to skilled sailors.

[b]Carpenter[/b] - in charge of ship's maintenance/condition
[b]Cook[/b] - it's the cook!
[b]Surgeon[/b] - ye olde sawbones.

[b]Powder Monkeys[/b] - usually least experienced crew members, charged with carrying shot/powder from magazines to guns and otherwise performing other menial tasks.
[b]Lookouts[/b] - one of the most dangerous roles, sitting high up and exposed.
