[hider= Erde Mensche] Name: Erde Mensche the Bound Titan Age: When his soul was bound to this body he forgot everything. He has no conceivable idea how old he is. Nor does he care. Gender: Masculine but genderless Race: Titan Random descriptors: Tall, earthen, smells of petrichor. Character Tier: High. Character Type: Critical Character- Active Multiverse Participant Physical Description: His body is simple enough to describe, a pliable and easily compressed and stretched skeleton made of bronze. Moss, mold, mushrooms, and more grow on his shoulders and head. Inside his mouth are incredibly toxic mushrooms. Coating the skeleton from head to toe is a thick layer of clay and soil, rocks and gravel peek from beneath. Inside his chest lies his vulnerable core, protected by a layer of natural cement and stone. On his head is a bronze mask, it has a face of genuine distress donning it. This is not indicative of his mood. It is simply there. Water frequently trickles down through the eyes, mouth, and nose holes. This is because he pushes the water from his body out through his head to keep the plants moist. His overall height depends on his location, but if he's just travelling he stands at 12 feet tall from head to heel. His stature is always upright, even when sitting down. Back stiff and head forward unless something draws his attention. If he's examining you he'll become fluid and more animal like in movement. Personality Description: Enigmatic at best, often wandering for miles in one direction with no cause. Standing in one place for days, staring at a single point on the ground. Sometimes breaking into a sprint and traveling across vast tracts of land to just place a rock on top of another rock. Doesn't speak much, nor does he do much. At least, in the eyes of lesser beings he doesn't. To him, every movement is important. Don't touch his mask. I won't explain why. Just don't do it. If you want to discover the mystery, then make the mistake. Skills, powers and abilities: -[High] Geomancy: Titans claim dominion over one aspect of reality, and Erde is no different. As a titan of earth he controls the very ground itself, and boy does he do it well. With a two mile control radius his range will never come into question. The ground bends and cracks to his will, allowing him to pull and push it as though it were merely an extension of himself. Earthquakes and rockslides, all a thought away with Erde's control over the area. His influence does not wane nor wax, he is a constant presence. Everything in a two mile radius of his body is under his control, as long as he is still in contact with the ground. The earth he controls has to be touching the ground as well, he does not levitate rock, he does not create new rocks, he simply controls and sculpts it to his will. -[High] Spiritual presence: Erde Mensche has an incredibly strong presence in the area, not a purifying or corrupting force. He does not change the way the area feels, he simply returns it to its natural state. The ground beneath him will never be corrupted or purified, all of this is viewed as corruption to Erde. Changing it from its natural form is seen as a hostile action, and will be dealt with swiftly. Construction and mining are not seen as hostile, these are physical changes. Spiritual and energy changes are the only harmful changes. -[Intermediate] Body Control: Erde's body is not his own, it was created by a dead species to house his soul. The body is made of bronze, sculpted into the form of a skeleton. Wrapped around this skeleton is a layer of earth and moss. He can control his body size and shape at will, compressing and expanding his own form to allow for greater mobility in the environment. He can be harder than iron, or soft as mud, but one thing remains constant. His core. -[Intermediate] Physical Strength: Erde is capable of throwing around his own weight incredibly well, but he fights better at a distance. As such, his strength is not as utilized as effectively in close quarters as one might think. Every single pound of his body is used as a club, rather than in an effective fighting style. Being hit by him at close range is like being hit by a truck. On a purely physical measurement of strength, he can stop a train in its tracks and toss cars with ease. -[Low] Core: This isn't a skill, ability, or even a power. More of a curse. Erde's soul is bound to a cylindrical core that is suspended in whatever material he is making his body out of at the time. Protected always by a thick layer of rock and natural cement to keep it from harm. If this is his sole weak point, and if its destroyed, his body will collapse and he will die. If the core is ripped out then it has lost connection to the earth, and he cannot manipulate without contact. If he's placed on anything that isn't made from the earth, like plastics or leather or plants, he will be completely unable to reform his body. On the opposite end. If his core is just ripped out and cast into the dirt, he will immediately reform a body around the core. A single rock could allow him to escape a trap, given enough time. -[High] Limitless Energy: Erde Mensche doesn't draw from a limited pool of energy, he does not tire, does not become exhausted. As a force of nature he is a constant, and the only things that will stop him are victory, death, and surrender. -[Low] Poison Mushroom Fog: Inside his mouth grows a species of mushroom that puts out spores constantly, these spores are toxic to humans and animals. As they have strains of viruses and toxins that give you similar symptoms to botulism and anthrax. He does not breathe, so the spores remain inside his mask at all times. This is completely passive and not under his control. If you rip off his mask and his mouth opens, you'd better have a strong immune system. Because it's your fault you get a lungful of this. Character Equipment: None. Character History: Titans create themselves, they aren't born, they simply become. And become he did, on a planet much like Mystique. This planet saw him as a powerful force for war, and they sent armies to retrieve him. And retrieve him they did. Powerful mages and brilliant scientists drew his soul from his natural form and forced it into a small cylindrical stone. Etching ancient sigils into it from languages predating their own, binding him to it forever. They let him loose on their enemies and he slaughtered them, then returned to their home. Time went by, who knows how long, but something was wrong with the planet. Yes, Erde's soul being torn from his body threw the planet itself out of balance. Even more time passed, Erde was sent to war countless times. Time immeasurable passed and a great plague fell upon the people who tore his heart from him. He watched them die, ignoring their pleas for help. To protect them was not his job. His job was to kill who they pointed him at. And so he did nothing to save them. Now he waits, knowing that when the time comes he will be free. The time when his core will be cleansed of the sigils by erosion. Nature must cleanse him of the sigils, destruction of the sigils will do no good. So he waits, waits for his freedom. Freedom to become himself once more.[/hider]
