Caden obliges Nero and wraps his arms back around them. Caden holds Nero close, resting his face in the crook of their neck, but Caden doesn’t hold them for long. Nero is freezing, and Caden doesn’t like that. Slowly, Caden starts to help Nero undress before getting them into the bathtub.

With Nero taken care of, Caden starts to strip down as well. It takes a while for him to peel his clothes off. Everything sticks to him, but once he is free, he steps into the bath and pulls Nero into him.

She wraps an arm around him, nervous he’s about to drop her, but Nic effortlessly carries her up the stairs and to her bathroom. Once Cassi is sitting, she stares at Nic, ignoring his other questions.
