Good question. If it doesn't need to be specific, how about some architectural. If you want more specific, perhaps they are a classic "owns a profitable mine" type of rich family, and so made their fortune some time ago selling stone and mineral in addition to serving as consultants in construction using said stone and mineral. That way, if they can ever rein Lanner in they can ask her to be easy transport :lol
