[@Zeroth] Vander was the leader of the gang, although the gang was more of a family. They operated mainly in smuggling and things that helped keep a low profile, so things like robberies, heists, assassinations, etc. were very few and far between as to not draw attention. They were also often involved with the more corrupt side of the Clover Kingdom and their knights. Hikari was aware of some of these dealings, but they kept him far away from that side as he was the little brother of the gang. Hikari was only involved in stealing, bodyguard during smuggling operations, and getting money from those who owed it. 

So, mainly a non-violent gang that sought profit over violence.
