Hey, I had a really vivid dream and want to role-play it out with someone. I wrote out the dream as I remember it. If you want we can pick up from the first part where we are still on the ship or we can pick up from when the ship has exploded.

I am a criminal with an ankle monitor sentenced to work on *random spaceship name* for the crime of GTS (Grand Theft Spaceship). Just transported down to planet *insert random planet name* with friend/officer in charge for some pre-approved leave (day pass sort of thing). When teleported, ankle monitor doesn't come with, it stays on the ship as the teleportation system messes with the wiring/programming.
 
Almost as soon as I'm teleported, *ship name* explodes. Random internal failure/attack from another random person. Now I can run from the law/attempt to prove my innocence... or turn myself in and risk being blamed for explosion. Explosion was captured and publicly aired on planet's news. Everyone believes all crew/passengers (including me) are dead.

You are my best friend and an officer of the galactic police force. You stumble upon or are called to the explosion. You learn it's the ship I was sentenced on but refuse to believe I died. You pull my record, run scans for my signature DNA amongst the wreckage. You learn I used a fake name on board so no one beyond my officer in charge/captain would know who I really was and why I was on the ship. You are tasked with finding out why the ship exploded, who caused it and where I am. Do you actually seek me out to exact justice, hoping it'd come out that I didn't cause the explosion or do you seek me out to help me escape the corrupt criminal system, or do you let me be and hope I stop my criminal ways?

[s]Opening situation to it played out in my sleep.[/s] I was aboard your ship (you are captain), serving time. Guy looking real nervous kept asking people for a communicator (phone) saying he needed to call his wife for their anniversary. I tried to help him, asked a few people. Finally I went to you to beg you to let him. You agreed, but put it on speaker type of thing. Guy started to rock, bite his nails and kept repeating "why is it late? What's the number? I need to call my wife." Like acting real sus and sketchy.

You remind me of my allotted day pass and send me on my way. You send sketch on his way but tell guards to keep an eye on him. You end up coming to the planet (in a different area, so we aren't together) for some business and that's when the ship goes kaboom. 

There's a gun fight in there somewhere.. I remember hiding behind a wall and a high desk, staring at a guard/officer with his weapon drawn. I remember telling another passenger and the sketch guy that I know how to shoot and fire a gun but criminals aren't allowed guns.

If you can help scratch this itch, it would be greatly appreciated. I woke up after the first part and when I went back to sleep, the opening situation played out. Obviously it's something my brain is feeling like exploring. Be the Captain or the officer, which ever role you want. I'm flexible.
