Nero beams at Caden with cheeks full of steak. [color=#9B111E]“I know.”[/color] They say happily around the food. Someone shoots them a dirty look, but Nero refrains from trying to scare them immediately. Swallowing their food, they pull a ring out of their purse and make it fall into the two glasses of champagne headed for the couple who had glared. Nero wiggles excitedly, waiting for the entertainment to begin and glancing at Caden with a wide, innocent smile. They’d been carrying around that fake diamond ring for a long time waiting for a moment like this to force a fake proposal on two unsuspecting humans.
