Kiki plops down in the grass behind Caden’s house, deciding that she would wait for Avery to meet her instead of accidentally encountering him mid-shift. She’s tempted to just shift, but she doesn’t want to ruin her robe and be left with nothing to change into afterwards. When she sees the gigantic fur-ball that is Avery, she can’t help but grin excitedly, hopping up to meet him halfway and hugging him around his neck.

[color=FFF79A]“So soft…”[/color] Kiki mumbles into the mostly white fur with a silly smile, momentarily distracted by Avery’s wolf.

When Nic returns downstairs, he finds Cass still in her kitchen. [color=F7941D]“I promise I’m modest this time.”[/color] He says, pulling on some clean black socks as he made his way towards her. He checks the time on his smartwatch before he leans on the counter towards Cass. 

[color=F7941D]“I won’t ask today since you’ve already made me a great picnic basket,”[/color] Nic starts with a grin. [color=f7941d]“But maybe sometime this week we can have lunch before I start work. I don’t know if you’d want to go into the hospital cafeteria or not, but there’s some cute options outside of it where we could go.”[/color]
