Before Caden called Nero, he called on Avery. It took a while for Avery to pick up the phone, but when he finally does, Avery yawned before saying hello. Caden frowned and checked his watch.

[color=#006400]"It is nearly two in the afternoon, Zain."[/color]

[color=#B0C4DE]"And I was a wolf all night. I slept some, but I'm sleeping more,"[/color] Avery responded, his voice gruff. [color=#B0C4DE]"What you need, boss?"[/color] Avery yawned again.

[color=#006400]"Can you pick up Nero for me? Cass and I are going on a hunt."[/color]

There is a pause on the other end and Caden wondered if Avery fell asleep again before he responded.

[color=#B0C4DE]"Of course. Do you need me to dress in the usual way?"[/color]

[color=#006400]"Yes, if Kiki goes with you, you two need to stay in the car though. Let Nero come to you and don't open the door for them. I still have to talk to them, but I'll text you the address."[/color]

Once Caden hung up the phone with Avery he texted Nero.
