[color=F7941D]“Sounds like I’ll be on braid duty again tonight.”[/color] Nic says with a smile. Of course he always thinks of Cass as being adorable, but her purring tone reminds him too much of a cat to not find her a bit amusing as well. 

Nic’s gaze shifted to the leg she has dangling out of the tub and swallows the lump that’s appeared in his throat. He can’t help but notice the way her thigh squished against the wall of the bathtub and feels the sudden urge to want to squeeze the thick part of her leg. He busies himself by grabbing the shampoo and working a small amount into her scalp, just wanting to get that clean for her but not dry out her curls. 

[color=F7941D]“I’ll admit, I’ve done this for some of my patients before too - just washing their hair. Some of them can’t shower properly because of one thing or another and greasy hair starts to wear on their mental health.”[/color] Nic starts cupping water again to rinse out the soap from Cass’ hair as he talks, helping him resist his tempting thoughts. [color=f7941d]“You’re by far my favorite person to do this for though.”[/color] Shampoo all rinsed now, he kisses her head. 

[color=f7941d]“Alright, I’ll let you relax now.”[/color] Nic moves so he can see Cass’ face again. [color=f7941d]“I’ll braid it once you’re done and I’ve showered.”[/color]

Nero looks up from their lap to give Caden a half-smile in return, the comforting squeeze on their thigh helping them relax a little. [color=#9B111E][i]“Ich muss etwas Blut besorgen, um mit ihm in Kontakt zu treten, und ich sollte es außerhalb Ihres Grundstücks tun.”[/i][/color] They say softly to Caden as the dessert arrives.

As Caden starts a conversation in Italian with the staff, Nero can’t help but smile. It always amazes the demon just how charismatic their dragon is to just about anyone. When Caden turns back to look at Nero, they beam up at him as they notice how brilliantly his eyes shine.

[color=#9B111E]“That’s very sweet of them,”[/color] Nero says, a little bit in awe of the simple kind gesture. It’s hard to think of humans being kindhearted when you’ve been the one torturing humankind for their sins, but Caden always seems to find them in one way or another. [color=9e0b0f]“Is Italian anything like Latin?”[/color] They ask as they pull one of the desserts towards them.
