[@Brink] well I know I'm one post too late for pre-planning, but I was wondering if you wanted our characters to be bros? I think their personalities read somewhat similarly, so maybe they shared lunch and breaks together at school because they found the other easier to talk to than the other students. Or at least, easier to sit beside while they each had their own thoughts. I imagine it was a lot of philosophizing between the quiet, and the occasional sparring match (in which your character often overcame mine with correct use of mist and spells). Bad matchup for a power type to fight evasive and wide spread abilities lol 

Yet occasionally Kobe's balanced force/speed/technique approach would overwhelm your character before he could get his better attacks off.
