Mana said “drained but not injured. He…was able to help Zhara reclaim control of her shadows…but it taxed him. She is in a lot worse shape. Her battle left her wounded but on top of it her fighting her own power to protect the pharaoh caused more wounds and she is drained badly…” she looked at her pharaoh and saw he was busy dealing with the healers and said “we need to get her back now. She’s at the gates of Anubis’s realm…but we can’t tell him her state. He needs to rest in peace or he won’t recover” 

Zhara flinched in her arms, sweat running down her face.
