Bane Halrond is, at first glance, a rather imposing man, though after a few moments of words exchanged, he reveals himself to be more tired than gruff. He has seen his masters and his own men fall to the Shadowbane, and to the influence of both greed and magic, and as a result, it has left him with a deep-seated anger towards the former and a wariness towards the latter, as it has upended the security and meaning of his profession. He now ekes out a living as a mercenary for people who require an escort for security purposes, and he spends much of the coin maintaining his weaponry and armor - or what is left of its glory days. What little is left is spent on strong drink, as well as other, warmer comforts that seedy taverns provide.
