Mic glances over at Cassi frequently as he drives, unable to stop his worrying for her. Luckily the drive back to her place barely has any traffic and it’s not long before he’s pulled in front of Cassi’s condo. He puts the car in park before shifting to face her better,

Try as she might, Kiki’s not able to get through much of the demonic text. On one hand she’s only understanding every other word while on the other hand she can’t stop thinking of Avery. She knows he’s just sleeping off the intensity of repairing their bond, but she’s tempted to go smack him awake. Or maybe dump a bucket of ice on him.
