Nic makes quick work of bringing everything else up from the SUV, not wanting to leave it for later and then be too exhausted to do it. Some of his neighbors pass by and Nic greets them warmly, introducing himself if they are new faces before he makes his way back to the apartment. When he steps inside, he’s greeted with the adorable image of his father playing with Wayland using one of the toys they’ve gotten. His lips quirk up in an amused smile before he shifts his gaze to try and find Cassi.
