Everybody uses magic and takes it for granted. But why? No one can speak of the origin of magic, nor how it truly works aside from some level of instinct. Is magic something in the air like pollen and microplastics? Does it involve a pact with a being beyond mortal ken? Is it just what happens when you wish [i]really hard[/i]?
