I think you’ve got to stop thinking about it in terms of me. I could have left a while ago by now, never confronted you, and likely would have never had to meet you face to face at any point again in the future. And my life would be unchanged. For me? None of this is about me. It never was. Only one of us standing here matters right now, and it’s not me.
