She remained seated, but turned to observe. The guy working certainly didn't seem happy to be asked about his personal matters by a stranger; otherwise he seemed amicable, and divulged the situation to Vincent without much argument. Cait drifted her attention to the customer sitting nearby. He looked suspiciously focused on Vincent. Cait's thoughts traced back to the black SUV sitting in the lot outside; it had looked newer and more pristine than the Jeep parked nearby.
