Well, it was a battle. Basil watched with Volta sitting on his lap sharing bored expressions, their backs hunched over while they watched the battle. His right leg was beginning to bounce. It was driving him crazy. The last few days had been nonstop action and moving. In fact, this may have been the first time where he actually sat down and did nothing. He hated it, he hated it with every fiber of his being. [color=8493ca]"How about we go on adventure?"[/color] Basil asked the baby electric lizard. 

[color=ed145b]"Blep,"[/color] it responded unenthusiastically. 

Basil hopped to his feet and called out to his traveling companions. [color=8493ca]"Hey, I'm going to check a few things out. Don't rush on my account."[/color] And with that, he made his way back to the main part of the village. Something that Anise said did bother him. The place had law enforcement, so perhaps it was time to get some information on his mysterious stowaway. Basil decided to go to the nearest police station or law enforcement equivalent.
