Nic can’t help but smile at how happy Cassi seems to be just from helping him pick out clothes, even as he follows her with the other bags to the SUV. He’s tempted to answer sarcastically and say something about spending so much time shopping but… Having a suit for the bonding ritual of Caden and Nero is not only important to Cassi, but to himself as well. It’s about time he started looking like an adult. 

[color=F7941D]“Lead the way, oh doll maker.”[/color] He says with a smile as he unlocks the SUV so they can put the bags inside.

Nero just nods as Caden responds, feeling vulnerable for saying the words out loud and silly for having the thought in the first place. There’s not time for them to reply as Caden initiates a passionate kiss and they immediately kiss him back, trying to ignore the allure of just suggesting they have their way with each other in the woods. 

Even so, Nero feels disappointment as their kiss ends before their ears turn red from Caden’s teasing. The distraction works well. [color=#9B111E]“…You’re on.”[/color] They say, eyes narrowed in a competitive but playful glare.
