Adam looked panicked and said “no I can’t do that to him!” Serena groaned and whistled loudly to get them all to look at her. “Guys…I meant the link Drake has with the brotherhood. There must be something still linking him to Apep. I would never want to break a bond or relationship like that between you and Drake Adam. Never. But to Apep…that I would take a hammer to.”

Adam sighed and relaxed a bit, nodding. “Of course that’s what you meant…I’m sorry, I didn’t listen closely enough to your wording…I guess I’m still out of it from the attack…” Serena nodded and said “did you sleep?” He shook his head and said “not till I finally cast him out thanks to whichever god sensed my problem and sent some kind of wave out. It broke thru and I think I passed out after that…but it was around dawn.”

There was a knock and Darts was standing there. “Heavens…is everything alright in here? Adam what happened?”
