Five years of searching had passed, at least this universe's 5 years, and yet the cosmos, with all its wonders, remained vast and quiet. The thousands of planets of the many systems spun lazily in the distance, suns flickered in the periphery, and nebulae stretched like cosmic oceans, yet no sign of Lumyell Morningstar had surfaced.

My hand hovered over the ship's console, my fingers lightly brushing the glowing controls. I leaned back the chair, gazing out at the swirling planets below. The starlight outside bathing my face in pale blues and purples, contrasting against the warm glow from the cockpit's instruments.*[/i][/color]
