Specialty / Skill: outside the innate abilities of angels (great strength and regeneration, not to mention being able to fly) , she has astonishing resistance to pain, which, coupled with her capability to heal wounds almost instantly, uses as a way to approach harm without worrying about getting hurt. She is skilled with hand to hand unarmed combat (the sword is a mere ceremonial sword, she doesn't know how to use it) and knows about judicial procedures. She is also a good cooker.

Personality: Usually tries to hides her emotions the most possible (but it's not like she is devoid of them).Bernabe is direct, blunt and incapable of seeing the world in terms outside black or white. Her love for justice has made her into a seeker of order that, for the sake of her beliefs, won't even question anything, only caring for the legality or not of anything and acting according to it. Her dream is a perfect world where everyone follows the law obediently and order prevalent over everything, for this reason she despises creatures that do not represent this ideal, specially demons, spirits and beastmen. She also holds a grudge against half-lings, which she considers "an aberration out of nature", although since law permits the existence of some these beings she shows no outside complain. Same goes for magic, which she doesn't like a bit for its lack of logical explanation but she has no issues with because of its legality status 

Ability: BER-Class-IV-Type-Green: Denial of action (known alternatively as "the bubble") ESPer with the ability to delay the reality in a way that seems that everything goes slow motion for the user, giving the outside impression that Bernabé is going at amazing speeds for the people and objects affected. This power only affects the events in a certain radius from the user and only lasts for about ten seconds, but the radius length variates depending of the amount of strength the user is willing to risk

Military: Heavily armed. Pitover has numerous specialized forces, including the most powerful aerial force of all nations. It also has up to three police corps that carry different duties that go from administration to mass repression. Anyone enrolled in this duties is considered a Power, which also includes the juridical system

Technological Level: Advanced, you'll rarely find anyone using technology prior to the 26th century. The technological advancement surpasses the one of any other continent

Other: Pitover has the size of a european country, France, Germany, Poland, Spain, and the weather is similar to those. Its floating altitude variates from 500 meters (1640feet) up to 2.5km (8202feet) but rarely has gone to such low or high altitude. It includes several rivers and mountains, but little landscape is left due to the massive cities that have been constructed. Some of the most important cities are Empyrean, Primum Mobile (which includes the center that controls the movement of the continent) and Stellae Fixae [/hider]

[hider=Pitover history] What would be later known as Pitover was first just known as a colossal mountain that floated in the sky. Fishermen who went deeply in the sea were likely the first ones to see it and for a long time whatever may be on said continent remained a mystery, however, it was known to be life on it due to sailors who navigated under the borders of it being sometimes surprised by the sudden fall of a goat or a deer that came along the water of waterfalls from it. Due to its altitude, around two kilometers, and the fact that it was in the middle of the sea, there wasn't a flying creature capable of reaching such altitude by themselves, angels, demons, flying beastmen, etc. So it wasn't until the invention of the airship when it was finally discovered by a group of explorers and their engineers, being the one in charge of the expedition an angel named Dante the 3rd and the chief engineer being a dwarf named Grenda Rondoteel, who was the one to baptism the floating continent with the name of Pitover. They settled down on the continent in the sky to work on their projects and explore the continent. 
The seraphs, leaders of the angels, upon hearing about this discovery named Dante a cherub and ordered the mass migration of angels to this land from Myrestia. Following the divine revelations of the seraphs, the angels started to populate the continent, alongside an important amount of scholars, engineers and even mages. During one of these explorations it was discovered the presence of dragons in the north part of the continent and for a long time there was a fight between the settlers and the dragons, but after centuries of struggle the fire breathing creatures were exterminated or they abandoned the continent to never be seen again.
A speleology mage expedition found around the middle to southern part of the continent a enormous cave that went kilometers down and took several weeks tor the explorers to get to the bottom of it, where they found a giant magical sphere that was rotation in itself. The mages were at first stunned and researching the surroundings they found clues of it being the cause of the movement and float of Pitover. Versiron, the elf mage leader of the expedition, after discussing it with the angels, who had, by their numbers, became the rulers of the continent, was issued the order to try to control the sphere with magic and when he tried to connect with it the continent started to fall down. This event would be known as "the minute of terror" even if it only was only for 15 seconds, but Versiron manage to contain the power and understanding it he became the first controller of the neuralgic center of Pitover. Soon an elevator would be constructed to reach easier the sphere room and eventually a city of mages and erudites over it, Primun Mobile, the sphere would be controlled by a mage for centuries until around the year 2412, when it was hooked to angelic machines known as thrones and has been controlled by this machines since then. Primun Mobile is nowadays one of the cities with the biggest population of magic users, and at least the one with the most mages in Pitover.

However, the capital of the continent is Empyrean, founded due to the capricious nature of the seraphs, who decided to establish the angel race there because of one of their divine revelations. Thanks to guidance and massive immigration of angels, Empyrean quickly grew to be the technological capital of the world, expanding its boarders from the north mountains to the east side of the continent.

Around 2439, following the creation of the "Cultural Exchange Between Species Bill" it was decided that no longer the political power would be held by a minority of angel principalities since it wouldn't follow the principles of toleration of the bill and therefor a system of democratic councils was implemented instead. Nowadays the angel nobility has lost all its power and privileges, but nothing impedes them for integrating into the political society [/hider]
