Hmmm....

I'll say that doesn't do anything notable, but Tanrith does feel something when using that spell. 

Like, I guess the way you can describe it is that Tanrith has thrown a rope into a deep dark abyss, and he feels something that [i]might[/i] be tugging on the other end, but it's very, very weak, like it can't properly get a hold. It'll need something stronger, something that's beyond Tanrith's magic as an artificer.
