Yeah, despite only being a year older he's very protective of her. Especially after Tsu's disappearance. I'm naming him Alias(uh-lie-us). He was likely there to defend her from the 3 guys, but got beat up due to the odds and age difference before Tsu arrived. He may have developed a crush on her as they got older, but never took it seriously, with his focus being getting stronger and heading out to find another world(with Tsu being additional/now kinda primary motivation).
