I'd say Kairi was more the bridge in the first game; finding and saving her was the common goal of Riku and Sora; their different paths in doing so created conflict. 

I'd say Tsu would be a bit of a mix between KH1 Kairi and KH2 Riku. I feel like either Hoshi or Alias could end up going down a darker path as they search for him. Definitely need a good clue to drop to solidify that Tsu is still alive.
