In general, we don't get to learn what characters are thinking unless they say it. But you can imply it through their actions and expressions. If you [i]really[/i] want to sneak it in, you can sometimes push emotions as drivers before certain actions, like

*Rolls my eyes, exasperated*

But obviously, rolling one's eyes implies exasperation :sun
