I re-watched Macross: Do You Remember Love? last night, the movie version of the original Macross. 
And man, the visuals are still absolutely gob-smackingly beautiful and it reminded me exactly why I wanted to run a Mecha-based RP in the first place, as well as the kind of 80's real-robot anime vibe I was going for too
