[@Roman] Fury's gender hasn't been established IC, unless I missed something in one of [@mattmanganon]'s post. So far the Director has just appeared as a sihouette with a distorted voice. 

But yes, Nick Fury is the Director of S.H.I.E.L.D., with Amanda Waller as his second-in-command (per [@AndyC]).
