Nic nods, wishing he could do something more for Cassi. [color=F7941D]“Well, we can check on them when we get back.”[/color] Nic says as he awkwardly takes his hand back and heads for the driver’s seat. He can’t help but feel she’s rightfully concerned about Nero. He gets the SUV started, waiting for Cassi to buckle in before he heads towards her place. It’s a relatively quiet drive as it seems both are too tired from cleaning up and stuck inside their own thoughts to really have a conversation. Nic silently hopes that changing and having some tea will help.

Kiki lets out a small squeak of surprise as she’s pulled into a kiss with Avery. Her hands rest on his chest as her surprise melts away and she kisses him back. She’s flushed when he pulls away to speak. [color=FFF79A]“Oh.”[/color] She says simply, dazzled by his smile and a little dazed as he walks away. She takes a moment to watch him before she lightly slaps her cheeks to refocus, walking away to go join Nero.
