On Velvet: "Wow, look at this gorgeous vampiress. Get a load of this apex predator. Utterly hot. I'd sure like to have her on my raid team."
On Max: "Nice of them to include a vending machine in the lobby for vampires too."
On Achieng: "She's sweet and nice. She's upset, because the world has moved on by her. I can empathize. I can also empathize with her being an apex predator like me and I [i]really really really[/i] don't want to make her mad, she couldn't kill me but I don't want to be looking over my shoulder for the rest of my tenure here."
On Qaymu: "Vampires are hypothetically immortal, which means we outlive [i]most[/i] other monsters, to say nothing of humans. I'd like to make a dragon friend so I have someone I can talk to for the next millennium."
On Iris: [i]"She's dumb and hot and too tall."[/i]
On Alphonse: "I've never actually met a 'mothman.' I thought they really [i]were[/i] myths. He seems like a nice enough guy; reads a lot of books, I bet he knows a lot about history."
On Miyuki: "She's also hypothetically immortal. I'd kind of like to see what she tastes like [i]if you know what I mean ayooo[/i], but she looks at me like a predator and literally lives in a shrine."
On Yumeiko: "Everything I said about Miyuki, but [i]worse.[/i] Somewhere just short of a divine being, constantly carries around prayer beads and magatamas, [i]also[/i] lives in a shrine. She's nice and all, but she's kind of like a living crucifix."
On Kai: "He kind of looks tasty but I think if I tried [i]anything[/i] on him Achi would eat my face."
On Nicholas: "...Can I...feed on him? He doesn't smell like blood at all. If he turns into something with blood does he get blood? What would he taste like? I am...deeply confused."
On Varlam: "Have you ever tried to feed on something with feathers? Last time I tried I was spitting them out for the next month. He's...unique, and I think I'd rather be friends. It's kind of cute how helpless he is on the ground."
