          I remembered the telltale signs of a war brewing and heard guards shuffling above with their guns, then gunfire resonated throughout upstairs as guards found some enemies and shot at them, I didn't know what they found but they meant for my safety so I didn't complain, even though I wanted to see the outside world and used my magic to find the intruder they were about to shoot at and reached in his mind "Promise to break me out of the basement and I'll help in your upcoming fight, deal?" My voice sounded as if like I had been stuck in the labs my whole life though only sounded in his mind as I was nowhere near him
