Seeing as Yumeiko allowed people and patrons of and to the shrine to pet or touch her tails in the past, I don't think you'd get as big of a reaction out of Miyuki as you imagine.

 the shrine, or touched anything [i][b]except[/b][/i] her tails... Well... That might be taken as a declaration of war.
