November 23rd, 2038 - Margaret Carter Institute[/b][/color][/h3][/center][hr][u][b]Everyone:[/b][/u] She-Hulk will get the info for contacting your parent/guardian, and will make the call on her phone. It isn't her personal phone, it seems like one issued for Avengers business. The phone call will open with her explaining that there was an incident at the school with a supervillain, that your character was involved, but everyone is okay. She-Hulk will then say that she will be staying on site with the affected students until a parent/guardian can come to retrieve them, and that the Avengers can help pay for transportation costs for families this would pose a hardship for. At this point, she will pass the phone over to your character, so they can speak with their parent/guardian directly. 

	If you need specific dialogue or dialogue responses from She-Hulk, please send me a DM on Discord, with the relevant text that needs to be responded to. I will do my best to respond to each within 24 hours. Do [i][b]not[/b][/i] anticipate to get more than 2-3 bonus lines of dialogue, however. The majority of your post should be your character talking with their guardian. 

[hider=Trick or Treat 2024][b]These tricks/treats go into effect when your character returns from Thanksgiving break[/b]

Leah - Treat - While everyone else had a parent or guardian that could be contacted, there was no one there to speak for Leah - something that the school, shockingly enough, hadn't even realized. In order to both tie up the legal loose end [i]and[/i] ensure the safety of a young child, She-Hulk stepped up and filed the documentation necessary, with Leah's okay, to become her legal guardian. Leah has now been given access to She-Hulk's Los Angeles apartment, where a room has been set up for her, as well as a card giving her access to the West Coast Avengers' mansion. Jen has also gotten a trust fund set up for Leah, where she will now be making regular deposits - being an Avenger doesn't pay well, but being a lawyer as well certainly doesn't hurt. 

Mary Sue - Trick - Mary Sue headed back to Cardiff over break, most likely hoping for something relaxing and uneventful. Instead, her grandfather sent his heralds to retrieve her father. The resulting fight was intense and bloody, Oliver ended up in the hospital in critical condition, and a scar across Mary Sue's left eye that rendered her partially blind. Her mother lost an arm, which will soon be replaced with a prosthetic. At least they won the battle. But Thanos is still out there, lurking. 

[b]Andy [/b]- Trick - Over Thanksgiving break, Andy will have had a hard time sleeping, bouts of insomnia that no medicine or magic seems to be able to dispel. The day before she is due to return to the Margaret Carter Institute, she'll finally get some much needed rest. However, when she wakes up, she finds herself in an abandoned building, a desiccated corpse at her feet, and wounds on her arms - as if someone had tried to fight her off. 

[b]Mads[/b] - Treat - Over the break, Mads went through a bit of a growth spurt! Her more demonic features came in and settled. She now has fanged teeth, a forked tongue, horns, a tail, and wings like those of a bat. With these wings, she now has the innate ability of flight. Her teeth are able to destroy most materials, save things like vibranium. Her tail is prehensile, so can be used to grab other objects and manipulate them. And her more monstrous form will give her advantage on intimidation checks.  

[b]Sabine [/b]- Treat - During the break, Sabine was plagued with strange, almost lucid dreams. In these dreams, she watched her mother as a young woman, striding confidently down the halls of a castle on the moon, a sword strapped to her side. She stood a few paces behind a tall man, with dark hair and a dramatic cloak, a crown on his head that indicated his station. Her mother seemed to be his bodyguard, following him wherever he went - from the scene of courtroom dramas to ghastly murders. No matter what Sabine did, no one noticed her in the dream. 

Until the last night, right before students were due to return to the Academy, when her mother would look directly at Sabine, and say: [i]"You are not your father's child, Sabine. You're his."[/i]

Zari - Trick - Zari and Andy have a great break, catching up with her parents in the alternate universe of Earth-667. Aside from Andy's issues, no trouble rears its head - until they get back to Earth-666, and Zari sees her time traveling device short out, reading a bunch of error messages that more or less amount to one thing... Earth-666, the universe our RP takes place in, is now cordoned off from the rest of the multiverse. No one can leave. No one can enter. 

Zelda - Trick - Even before the business with Arcade, Zelda has often felt herself to be invisible, blending in with the surroundings and never truly being noticed. Perhaps that is more true now than ever before, as over the break, she fell ill with a horrible fever. The fever nearly required hospitalization, and when it broke, her body seemed to be fading out of existence. Within a matter of hours, she had become completely invisible - and so far, she hasn't figured out a way to control this power and reappear. 

Dorian - Treat - For a living boy, Dorian shares a great deal in common with the dead - a fact that may endear him more to his Uncle Casper, or even his formerly dead father, Ben. Over the break, Dorian will discover another thing he has in common with ghosts - the ability to manipulate electromagnetism. He gains the ability to perform applications at the basic level per https://powerlisting.fandom.com/wiki/Electromagnetism_Manipulation 

Danni - During the break, Danni ended up wearing himself out one day, so incredibly tired as he went to sleep. So tired, in fact, that the scent of smoke didn't wake him. In the midst of a nightmare, his powers activated... and burned his house to the ground. No one was injured, thankfully, the adults had been out seeing a show - and while Max would be able to fix the house pretty quickly with magic, the memories don't fade, and the smell lingers. [/hider][hr]	April nodded guiltily, as Leah and Sabine quickly put a plan into motion. She didn't want to run away - or more of, she didn't want to be [i]seen[/i] as someone who would run away - but curling into a ball in her girlfriends' rooms felt like the best thing for her in that moment. She was emotionally exhausted, beyond wiped out. Her entire body was simultaneously numb and over stimulated, shaking and still, her heart void of feeling and overflowing. She'd lost her mind, and the shame had yet to quite sink in - the embarrassment that would soon come, as the dullness of her senses went away, and the realization of how much destruction she had caused in her panic would sink in. She was deathly afraid of being like them, of losing control... And now she had. 

	None of her friends had died... this time. 

	So as Sabine started to distract She-Hulk, April let herself be whisked away from Leah - a softly whispered [i]goodbye[/i] to her friends and her sister, the ever so slight wave of a trembling hand - as she crept her way to the door. Her head was down, her eyes at the floor, so much so that she almost didn't notice as she nearly walked into an incredibly buff wall of green and violet. 

	"Going somewhere?" She-Hulk asked, crossing her arms. Even with Sabine's distraction, her perception was uncanny - and the stealth of two high school students was not. 

	April swallowed thickly. [color=42A9FF]"Uh just this... just the bathroom,"[/color] she squeaked out, her face burning crimson. [color=42A9FF]"I can... um... I can give you my parents' number now? Well, it's her parents' too - not her, but her,"[/color] she floundered, gesturing towards Zelda. [color=42A9FF]"It's pretty late in DC so they might not answer the phone, but um... We have to call them? Right, yes, of course - of course we do, Madam She-Hulk, ma'am... uh... Sorry,"[/color] she rambled, before reciting her mother's phone number. 

	"Deep breaths, kid," She-Hulk said sympathetically, before dialing the number. She quickly spoke on the phone, explaining everything that had happened, and that they needed to come pick up April and her sister, before She-Hulk passed the phone over to April and put it on speaker, waving Zelda to come on over. 

	[i]"Shit, girls, are you alright? I'm waking your father up now, we'll be on the first quinjet from DC to come and get you. Are you hurt? Has a doctor looked at you?"[/i] April's mother, Bonnie, a director of SHIELD and the champion of the goddess Athena, said. It made her body tremble to hear her mother's voice. 

	[color=8181F7]"Um. We're fine and not dead yet..."[/color] Zelda muttered.

	[i]"What's going on?"[/i] her dad's voice muttered in the background. 

	[i]"The girls were nearly murdered - there was an attack at the school - get dressed, I've already requisitioned a ship."[/i] 

	[color=42A9FF]"Y-yeah..."[/color] April murmured, her cheeks still bright red from She-Hulk quite literally stopping her at the door. [color=42A9FF]"We're... fine...."[/color]

	[i]"What????????"[/i]

	[color=8181F7]"We're fine, the guy is dealt with,"[/color] Zelda argued, clearly not wanting to be part of this conversation.

	[i]"April, I need you to take care of your sister, okay?"[/i] Bonnie ordered. In the background of the call, April could hear bags shifting - probably her parents' go-bags, packed just in case of an emergency. [i]"Keep her calm. Until we get there, I want you to stay with Maria, okay?"[/i]

	[color=42A9FF]"I... Y-yes, I can... I can do that! Um, yes, keeping Zelda calm, that is my priority - and - and listening to... listening to Maria."[/color]

	[color=8181F7]"...I'm calmer than she was a few minutes ago, mom I don't need her to keep me calm, it's fine. The psycho is dealt with... Actually knowledge of video games came in handy for once other than for my costumes."[/color]

	[i]"....What? Listen, go stay with Maria, I have to get off the phone. But if anything changes, call me IMMEDIATELY, okay? Swear it on the goddess. Both of you."[/i]

	[color=42A9FF]"....I.... I swear..."[/color]

	[color=8181F7]"...I swear. It's fine though nothing is going to happen... Probably."[/color]

	The phone call ended, and She-Hulk went up to Dorian next. "Number, please - and don't worry about him," she added, motioning towards Arcade. "He'll get a fair trial."

	Percy, meanwhile, was in conversation with his sister. Diana had raised a question to him, asking why he was tolerating his boyfriend's pleas for Arcade. Neither of them needed to provide contact information for their parents - their mothers were already here - so the two of them didn't have to go line up by She-Hulk. And their parents were currently discussing logistics with the other Avengers, and making calls for bringing Arcade to a secure facility for questioning. 

	But as he looked at Dorian, the answer came to him. [color=ed1c24]"Because he wouldn't be who he is otherwise,"[/color] he answered his sister, purposefully speaking in English rather than returning in Russian. Part of Dorian's personality and self was his compassion - even if it was flawed. Percy couldn't fault him for that. It was part of what he loved about him.
