"He didnt send me." he grumbles, "he just let me follow you when I wanted" he finishes his pasta, beginning to lick the bowl clean.

She reaches over, touching Dante's hand to silently reassure him and share in the moment, "its fine"

Ash giggled a little and said “okay have it your way. But I still speak truth. Bane knows when to worry and when not too. It’s thanks to how long his been alive. And how many battles his been thru.” She finished her bowl and put it aside and Aura came over and said “he seems like a nice guy…”

Dante flinched for a moment at her touch but relaxed a little. Then he bit into her shoulder and drank from her more. Bane was watching carefully, making sure neither of them were in any kind of danger.

Chi is quiet as he licks the bowl clean, then sets it donw. "careful, youre going to give aura ammunition...she likes match making." He pauses and thinks, "...unless you want him to find someone?"

Her eyes slide closed as he bites down, her hand still gently lying on his. She kept her breath slow and even, and, very considerately, more audible than usual.

Ash nodded softly and said “his never had a mate while I’ve known him. But I think he had one in the beginning. But from how he is and how he treats women…he respects them a lot and is a gentleman no matter what”

Dante drank for a few minutes then he suddenly stopped. He released her shoulder and was breathing hard for a moment. Bane saw the change and moved up, taking a step. “Astra. Check his pulse. His eyes are dull”

"Oh, interesting." he looks over at aura, "..youre planning something arent you?"

Her eyes opened as soon as Dante had stopped drinking, keeping any panic loced up, she reached up to the vampires shoulder sna gently guided him to sit down, checking whatever vitals a vampire might have.

Ash blinked and said “should I be worried?”

Dante was breathing hard from the feeding. His eyes dull as his pulse was way too fast. Bane moved behind Astra and said “his overloaded I think.” He moved next to Dante and looked into his eyes. “His fed so that will help…just need to snap him out of this state…”

CHi rolls his eyes, "Aura is...harmless. At least her hobby is."

She double checks everything, then sighs, "...forcing it was probably a bit much, but he didnt give me much of a choice." there is hesitation, but there is something she knows that would get a vampires attention..and someone who has been inbattle. A sudden bite, so she raises his hand up to her mouth and bites him back. SHe isnt fanged, and it doesnt draw blood, but it certainly is hard enough to get his attention.

Ash looked over and Aura waved at her. “Don’t worry. I’ll never do a force pairing”

Bane blinked as Dante jumped and his eyes cleared suddenly. He looked at his hand then back up at Astra and said “my lady? Did I slip into the dark again?” Bane nodded, impressed by her quick thinking.

Ash looked over at Chi then asked “so Aura, how did you end up involved in all of this?” Aura looked at her and smiled sadly. “I…lost my home to the push out of the city…and Astra found me in my sprite form. She saved me. And she wanted to help me find a place for my people to be safe…that’s what I am fighting for”

Dante swallowed then leaned back on the chair, holding his forehead. “I can’t believe I let it get this bad…I thought I had at least a few more days…”

Chi stretches and silently gets the dishes, letting aura tell her story as he begins washing his bowl. "...a lot of Black Sun are victims of violence, people with nowhere else to go."

Astra nods, leaning over and getting him a blood bag. "I'll have someone look into what drugs are going around. And poisons, just in case."

Ash looked at Aura and said “I’m so sorry…I heard the elemental woods were magical blessed but…I didn’t know that it was home to so many beings…” Aura tilted her head and said “you don’t need to be sorry. You didn’t cause it.”

Dante nodded softly but Bane walked in and rested a hand on his chin, making Dante look at him. “Okay his eyes are clear…more blood should help. But with how bad this got, don’t push it with your powers. Let’s your body recover”

Chi nods, thinking about what he knows of the shifters in the city coming from annexed and destroyed woods in the past. Theyve had to adapt. SOme took to humanoid forms most often, some have disguised themselves as regular pets. unknowingly, he falls into deep thought, having stopped moving to just stare down into the sink as his mind wandered.

Astra gently sets the blood bag into Dante's hand, "this...or you can try again from me.." she says softly. Then her attention changes to Bane, "So. What brings my esteemed guest to wander the halls? And...why the interest in Dante?"

Aura looked up and said “Chi? You alright?” Ash got up and moved over, resting her hand on his in the water. “Hey, want any help?”

Bane said “I got a feeling I was needed. And I felt a fellow warrior needing some back up as well. This man I know from his name a long time ago…I wanted to see if my nose was still on its game” Dante looked at Bane and his eyes widened. “You know…my past?”

“Only the story. A Blood Prince is hard to miss. But don’t worry. I’m here to aid. Drink up my friend.” Dante nodded and moved to open the bag, drinking it slowly.

The shifter looked up, suddenly realizing he was being touched. He looked over at Ash, though still unfocused "huh...?" he looked down at his hands, "No, its just one bowl...did you want yours washed too?"

Astra looked visibly relieved as Dante began to drink on his own. She stood up and stretched, wiping off some blood from her shoulder, "I would prefer not to lose you Dante, you are the person who could last my whole life..."

"oh, ok" he nods, more mild than his usual cheeky or concerned self. And so he motions to a towel for drying, finishing up his bowl.

She looks up at bane, then looks at dante, and then soke to Bane, "...I lost my parents to some fighting a while back. We got caught in the middle..." she sets her hand on Dante's shoulder, "...Dante found me a new family, and taught me how to be a leader."

Ash moved and grabbed the towel and taking the bowl to start drying. “You alright? You seem off in your world”

Dante moved his free hand to rest on hers and smiled. “It changed my life finding her when I did…it made my life of darkness see the light…” bane smiled and said “so this was after the Clan war?” Dante nodded.

Ash looked over and said “oh? How differently was it? In cities like this or out in the countryside like a lot of the magical folk?”

Bane smiled and said “well now I get why you both are so loyal…Dante, your clan?” Dante shook his head and said “spread out in the world. After the war…my older brother took over to protect the clan. I stayed to make sure peace stayed in tact. But there was a lot of blood and darkness till I found this little one…”
