No one knows if they truly exist or if they did, their origins and were they always energy based beings or used to be flesh and blood and found a way to become their current state. Though the myths are not clear and contradict each other. What is consistent is their great power that no mortal can hope to match and their possible shapeshifting abilites. Thus, Celestials were more of a background subject in academic circles and than in 2533 when the Pulse happened. A massive energy pulse was detected across the galaxy, and it lasted for ten minutes until it suddenly disappeared. No one knows what caused it, why it happened, or where the source was. Only that something significant had happened and with it seemly little effect on the galaxy and the people living in it. But there was development happening in the galaxy before the Pulse, for a select amount of people developed energy-based powers, and a week after the Pulse. All of them had a vision of a voice warning them that something was after them and they had a destiny. That and they should meet on the world of Jacinto where all questions about this would be answered. These people seeking answers to what this vision means, will travel to Jacinto to uncover the truth. Discovering what they truly are and, more importantly. Discover the force that is after them.
