Fenna approached the building that served drinks. Sil, who wasn't looking forward being inside with a lot of humans around her, flew up and settled on the roof, where she would keep watch. When Fenna entered the bar it didn't take long to find two of her comrades, especially with Zell calling her name through the room and waving at her. She clasped his extended hand before she joined them at the table. They were drinking, but it didn't look like happy drinking. Both had grim expressions on their faces, even with Zell keeping up his lighthearted behaviour. Fenna chuckled at his comment. "It will have to do," she sighed. The beer, while not bad, was one of the many things that just wasn't the same as back home. At least it had the same effect: dulling of the mind and a headache in the morning. How long ago was it she had just sat down with friends in a bar and drink? Not often since she had become a parent. "Cheers," she said to Clive and Zell, raising her mug. "We've been through a lot and the troubles are far from over, but at least we're in good company."
