[/quote] For the evil, I'm gonna go for something of the effect that the world is slowly falling apart, disintigrating, and monstrous creatures are coming from the cracks(so I guess that'd go for the ancient cosmic threat or demonic force). As for the nature of the heroes, I'm leaning towards super powers.
