The sound of his laughter brought her smile out and she beamed at him as he got comfortable. Avery’s scent enveloped her again as he crawled into bed and pulled her close to him. [color=FFF79A]“Sleep does sound nice…”[/color] She murmured as the two of them got comfortable. The brush of his lips on her neck made her squirm, a soft giggle escaping her lips.

[color=FFF79A]“Such a one-track mind!”[/color] Kiki teased, shaking her head.

Nero spared a glance behind them at Caden, concern flickering in their eyes. [color=#9B111E]“I…”[/color] An expression of mischief mixed with rage crossed the imp’s face before they replaced it with a roll of their eyes. 

[color=#9B111E]“Yes, well, tell the piggy that I appreciate his endeavor to properly torture you.”[/color] They turned back to continue walking, hand still holding onto the dragon’s tightly. Nero didn’t want to admit that they hadn’t realized Caden [i]could[/i] be hurt… Not by humans at least. 

Once they arrived at their shared room, the two cats came bolting out to wrap around the two’s ankles. Loud meows of protest were heard as Luci and Mika told the couple that they hadn’t enjoyed being cooped up in the room for this long.
