[center][b] Expedition to the Ninth Planet [/b][/center]

The Ninth Planet of the Solar System, most people when they hear of this, think of Pluto despite it losing its planetary status. Even more, would not think that there is another planet beyond Neptune or Pluto. To explain the odd clustering of orbits into the outer regions of the solar system. 

But so far, nothing has been found, making some in the scientific community say there is not a ninth planet despite a lack of clear evidence for either pro or against. The topic remained one of maybes for years. Even as humanity started to expand beyond Earth and start settling the solar system. 

The idea was on the back burner until the year 2090 when a probe accidentally discovered a super Earth-side planet in the outer regions of the solar system. Now when the scientists received the information. They could not believe it and double-checked their findings to make sure this was not some kind of error or glitch. But all of their tests came back positive. The hypothetical ninth planet has been discovered, and scientists did what they could to study the planet from afar to determine what the planet is like. 

When news of the discovery reached the rest of humanity. There is a curiosity about what the planet is like and why its discovery took so long. While not every question could be answered. From more probes and even one landing on the surface giving ideas to what the ninth planet now called Chronos is like. 

Two things were discovered that shocked scientists. One, Chronos, despite being this far from the Sun, was a habitable planet similar to Earth. Two and a more important detail, structures were found on Chronos that seem artificial. A hint that perhaps life, sentient life, could have existed on Chronos. This revelation spurred scientists to organize an expedition to Chronos. To study the planet to see if humans could live there and to discover if these structures are artificial and if they are. Then, find and meet the sentient inhabitants of Chronos if they still exist. 

However, the possibility of sentient alien life on Chronos was kept a secret until the expedition confirmed for sure that sentient life either has or has not existed or still exists on Chronos before revealing it to the public. The expedition is in high spirits
