To say he was in a pickle is an understatement. While he did manage to land a piercing blow on the doppelganger. It was unfortunately not enough to kill it. More so since it managed to eerily twist its body where he stuck an arm, not its head, and now it is stuck in the doppelganger. But it did look like it did hurt the thing badly, and now two mind-controlled Blinds were heading his way along with the doppelganger's own efforts to grab and kill him.

Elijah had to think fast, or he could easily die here after everything he had been through. He knows the spear will do nothing to the Blinds, even if mind controlled, but he still has a trick or two up his sleeve. The question is how the monster will react to it. 

So, with his spear stuck in the doppelganger and danger closing in. Elijah did the unexpected, he let go of the spear and dashed backward from the three. Once in the clear, Elijah recalled the spear back to him, and it disappeared from the doppelganger's body and reappeared in his hands. "If anyone can help me kill this monster, it will be greatly appreciated," Elijah said tensely, and as soon as it said it. He turned invisible. 

Now, instead of aiming for the doppelganger's head like he did before. Elijah opted to change his tactics somewhat just in case. While still coming from behind. Elijah used his might to again plunge the spear into the doppelganger's body. Not caring about its head this time. Trusting deeper into the doppelganger's body and aiming for where a heart should be. If it has one, that is. While he knows he is taking a risk of attacking from behind again. But this fight needs to end before someone dies. Either he or the people are still in control of their minds, and even the mind controlled Blinds. Well, here goes nothing, a final thought as he turned visible.
