I'm mostly leaning towards some sort of town AU to give us a little more freedom, though I do have one plot idea:

The circus is falling apart.

Caine is nowhere to be found.

Current cast members are succumbing to abstraction at an alarming rate, and past cast members have breached their containment. There's a suffocating sense of foreboding over the circus, a feeling of abandonment and quiet distress that is steadily closing in on the remaining characters. Pomni has seemingly arrived just in time to see the end, and there couldn't be a worse person to see it with. Jax is an immovable, insufferable force in this shitstorm - or so he wants Pomni to believe. He's dancing around the edge of insanity just as she is, and if they don't want to break they'll have to learn to rely on each other.

[*]I greatly enjoy angst/darker themes such as drug use, cursing, and some level of violence/gore. If someone is exceptionally squeamish, then I may not be the best person to write with. That said, please let me know of any concerns and I will adjust!
[*]As above, this could also include psychological torture, possible self-harm, and emotional trauma. Not a necessity, but it's all on the table. Anything that turns the story into something gritty to mix with hurt/comfort fluff is what I crave!
[*][u]Romance not required![/u] Family bonds are just as good.
[*]Smut is an option that can be discussed privately.
[*]My post length varies, though I average about 2-4 paragraphs. Inspiration can hit me hard, so my posts might be randomly long if the scene's good. Quality over quantity and all that.
[*][u]I am [b]not[/b] a 'one post a day' person.[/u] I just can't pump out posts like I used to. I won't vibe well with someone who insists on daily communication, whether OOC or IC, but I will do my best to be chatty and transparent.
[*][u]I fully expect proper grammar.[/u] Perfection is impossible, of course! But I want to write with someone who loves writing and shows it with decent effort.
