Curses were definitely not something anyone wanted to deal with and usually, something he couldn't care less about but since he was trapped in the human body, there wasn't much he could do if the magician did decide to punish her in that way. Perhaps Thoth could be able to cleanse her of any curse if they did manage to get a hold of it. Maybe the magician would just be too stupid to think that far ahead. At least, he hoped. Death eyed Kaia with a deep frown that only deepened as she began with how she didn't want to deal with her father to only take a pause before she took a different direction towards explaining her father. Death understood, to a degree. He didn't have family or a father but he understood dealing with difficult people. Gods are very difficult people to work with. They were forever stuck in their ways and didn't deviate from it for even a moment. You would have a better chance working them into your plan than to make a plan with them. It did help to make gods rather predictable or at least, Death had thought. With Athena going for the throne, Death was beginning to wonder if he even knew the other gods as well as he had assumed. This whole situation was turning everything on its head. He needed to get back to his godly form as quickly as possible. “Look, I get dealing with difficult people. Trust me, you don't get much more difficult than gods. Do you know that Zeus has an inferiority complex thanks to humans? That god thinks he's the god king. Which, he is not. We don't have kings or anyone in charge really. There are tiers to our power-” he paused a moment as he looked to Kaia before shaking his head. “Nevermind. It's incredibly complex. Let's just leave it at that.” “Anyways, sometimes you have to deal with those difficult people if you want to get things done. The longer I'm stuck in this accursed form, the worst it becomes for every living thing on EARTH! You see what I'm getting at? What I'm saying, nicely, is suck it up and do what needs to be done.” When she said the full moon was coming around, Death let out a deep grown. Deaths, especially death by suicide always spiked by the full moon. And he probably wasn't going to be able to instruct his reapers through it all. It made him incredibly frustrated just thinking about it but she was right about the full moon. That would probably be the best time for them to get a hold of Thoth or make some kind of contact. If she did use his magic, he was sure the spell couldn't be ignored. He just hoped that it was Thoth that would answer it and not someone else who would rather Death not have his throne back. He stood off the ground, giving a mighty stretch before he tucked his hands behind his head. He wasn't sure what he could do in the meantime while she got to work on deciphering the runes. There was still some time before they contacted Thoth and he really didn't have anything else he could do. It made him feel useless and anxious. Damn, he hated being in the human body and worst, he was hungry. His stomach rumbled loudly and he looked down at it. He had never truly felt hunger before. It was a new experience for him and one he didn't quite favor. “How do you deal with being human! Imagine having to constantly eat to sustain yourself. It's dreadful!”
