The Grandest Response!
Hello. This seems interesting to me. I wouldn't mind slotting into the role of MMC. I'm good with using DMs. I have some experience, especially using other mediums, but I'm still somewhat green at text-based RP (only having joined up less than a year ago). Collage student in the EST timezone, so I understand having a busy schedule and I'm willing to be patient. I play D&D as the DM a fair bit, so worldbuilding is nothing new to me. In return, if you'd have me, I have a question for you. What are you looking for in terms of post size? Some people want posts to be something akin to book chapters, others prefer one or two paragraphs per post. I don't mind either way, but it's important to know. Only one scene idea comes to mind as of current: Trial By Fire The MMC and FMC find themselves in a dangerous situation (if not for them directly, then for their friends) and have to work together to resolve it, even though they still detest each other at this point.
Ideas for MMC
In a nutshell, he's a young man in his late teens who lost his father at an early age and had to fight tooth and nail to get where he is. He had to apply and get into the Consulate on merit and skill, not through connections. He loosely understands what magic is and doesn't disbelieve it's existence, but is far more martially inclined. He detests the FMC at the start on principle, because (as he sees it) not only is she a noble who has it easy and got into the academy through connections, but she represents the nobility in a way few others do, the people who took his father. He's mostly kind-hearted, which means his friends are surprised at the genuine hatred he has for FMC earlier on. That said, he has enough self-control to keep a civil conversation with her, assuming they avoid sensitive topics and don't test each other's limits too hard.
I await your response.
